Privacy policy.

This policy covers benzait.com. It does not cover work performed under a client engagement, which is governed by the contract and by any business associate agreement in place.

The short version

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and loads nothing from a third-party domain. The only information we collect is what you type into the contact form and send us. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you.

Do not send patient information

Do not include protected health information, patient identifiers, or any other confidential clinical data in the contact form or in email to us. The form is an ordinary public web form. It is not a secure channel, it is not covered by a business associate agreement, and it is not an appropriate place for PHI.

If you need to send us something sensitive, tell us that in the form without the detail and we will arrange a secure channel.

What we collect

Information you send us

The contact form has four fields: name, organization, email address, and message. When you submit it, those four values are sent to us along with the page you sent them from and the time of submission. That is the whole payload. There are no hidden fields collecting anything else.

If you write to info@benzait.com or call +1 504 233 9297 instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that message.

Information your browser sends automatically

Like any web server, our host records ordinary request logs: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time. These are used to serve the site, keep it available, and investigate abuse. They are not combined with contact form submissions to identify individual visitors.

Information stored on your device

The contact form keeps a short list of timestamps in your browser’s local storage so that a single visitor cannot submit the form hundreds of times in a row. It contains no personal information and is never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

What we do not do

• We set no cookies of any kind, so there is no consent banner.
• We run no analytics product, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no fingerprinting.
• We load no fonts, scripts, or images from third-party domains. Everything the site needs is served from benzait.com.
• We do not sell or rent personal information, and never have.
• We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How we use what you send

To reply to you, to have the conversation you asked for, and to keep an ordinary business record of that correspondence. Nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list from a contact form submission.

We keep correspondence for as long as it takes to respond and for as long as our business records require, then we dispose of it. If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, ask and we will do it.

Who else touches it

Our hosting provider serves the site and holds the request logs described above. Our email provider carries the message from the form to us. Both act on our instructions and neither uses the content for its own purposes. We use no other processor for this site.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect the rights or safety of people or of the firm. We have never received such a request for this site’s data.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. BENZAIT maintains a SOC 2 Type II program, and the administrative, technical, and physical safeguards under that program apply to information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is the reason for the warning above about patient information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to be told whether we sell or share it. We do not sell or share it. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@benzait.com and say what you want. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We will verify a request by replying to the email address we hold and asking you to confirm. That is usually the whole verification, because the only information we are likely to hold is the message you sent from that address.

Children

This site is aimed at people evaluating professional services on behalf of an organization. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
