The Healthcare IT Consultant will collaborate with internal BENZAIT team members, the Client, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget and that all deliverables have a quality of excellence.

General Responsibilities

• As a Healthcare IT Consultant you are expected to create high-quality client deliverables and take ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; develop an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and exhibiting personal leadership at all times
• Collaborate with business, analytics and technology teams to identify issues, establish objectives, develop recommendations, and implement solutions for our clients 
• Perform project management duties including the creation of status reports, work plans, and presentations to client leadership 
• Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle 
• Develop, communicate, and implement project risk and issue management plans and strategies
• Drive outcomes without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional environment
• Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending, and presenting data and recommendations to management
• Define, develop, and document business requirements to ensure clients’ needs are captured and delivered 
• Work closely with Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Architects, Business Partners, and other Technology teams to ensure requirements and design are completely understood 
• Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test scripts, executing test cases, and documenting defects
• Effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
• Provide clear communications (oral and written) and share knowledge at all levels of the organization
• Exercise responsibility for one or more components of a consulting engagement for a client
• Support or drive data-driven identification and analysis of solution requirement
• Work with client and third-party vendor stakeholders to manage project planning processes, project requirements, roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops with clients to elicit requirements as the basis for creating business requirements documents and user stories
• Understand technical challenges, and work with the teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and issue tracking / resolution
• Support solution change or enhancement requests
• Prepare and deliver solution training workshops and collateral for clients
• Develop a profound understanding of BENZAIT’s culture of excellence and be in accordance with our principles of clarity, concision, and completeness. 
• Retain the status of your projects, drive visibility on progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, and manage communication of project status with internal and client leadership, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of healthcare IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience in any of the following areas:

• Project/Program Management
• Product Management
• Process Improvement
• Business Analysis
• Data Analytics

• 1+ years of building/creating project deliverables with the ability to manage complex work-streams in a client facing role.
• 1+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience working in a Healthcare environment or with clients in Healthcare and preferably with Providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a professional consulting organization or working in a healthcare leadership role.
• Agile / Scrum certified.
• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in digital health or consumer digital products or services.
• Proven ability to work in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
• Proven solid interpersonal skills.
• Previous work experience within an Agile or similarly organized environment.
• Experience with a range of business process modeling and improvement, quality assurance, software development life cycle (SDLC), and agile project management (JIRA) tools.
• Experience working with artificial intelligence in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with healthcare integration utilizing HL7 FHIR API.
• Experience implementing statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience with machine learning tools (e.g. Auto ML, Big Query).
• Experience in Java, C++, Python, SQL, R, and/or Tableau.
